Strictly from a mechanical perspective. Something changed in the powertrain, battery, AC, so on?

    And if yes, what?

    Thanks so much!!!

The 2011 has the same 1.8 engine, inverter/converter and traction battery as the Prius (since 2010). The 2013 Auris has the same components as the 2011 but the traction battery is mounted in a mirror image. However, you can make comparisons by searching online for parts and dates indicated based on the destination models.

Obviously there are external and internal aesthetic changes but the 2012-2019 Auris (last year MY19, I think) is the restyling of the 2011 but "underneath" it has remained the same apart from the traction battery which has the fan on the left (driver's side) unlike the 2011 which has the fan on the right.
