HV battery fan control and temperature monitoring apps for iOS

    Can you find installation instructions for it? If those two electrical connectors shown in the picture are the only ones, and if we knew where those two get plugged, we would know more about what battery temperatures it can or can't be aware of.

    So it just gets inserted where S14 plugs in, eh?

    Then it doesn't know anything about the internal battery temps. No wires at that connector except fan power, ground, fan speed request PWM signal, and fan speed feedback voltage.

    If there were any connections there to the CAN bus, or even the serial link from the smart unit to the ECU, you could imagine it able to ask for the internal battery temperature readings, but no such luck. It may have its own temperature sensor built in, just measuring the temperature right where that gray box ends up.
