What Do These Warning Lights Mean?

    I have a 2011 Prius III with mileage of 170K.

    Today, when driving on a highway, I had the ABS, brake, and the "slip warning" lights all come on at the same time. Where this occurred, the highway was under maintenance and was rough. The ABS light eventually went out but the break pedal felt heavier until I came to a full stop pushing the break pedal all the way down. Thereafter, the lights went out.

    What is this combination of lights telling me and should I be worried that my brakes or other critical systems of the car are failing? Front breaks and rotors were changed in 12/2023 and back breaks were done about a year ago although they seem to wear fast on my car.

    If they don't come back on, I wouldn't worry much.

    If they do come back on, read the trouble codes, and that's how to find out what they mean.

    If you don't have a scan tool that can read those codes, this way works:

    Is the brake actuator buzzing more than normal?
