    Hello All,

My 2005 Prius got the codes c1256 c1391, along with the VSC, ABS, and Brake on lights, which seems to indicate ABS Actuator problems based on what I've seen online. My local Toyota dealer recommended to replace the actuator for $3500!
Can someone recommend a good independent Toyota repair shop that can do this for less exorbitant pricing?
Location is Montgomery County, MD, along I-270 corridor. Thanks in advance.

My brother's in Bethesda there's all kinds of places any independent repair garage can pretty much do this It's not too high tech most people have us capable scanner now that can bleed the brakes there are even guys that will come to your house and do it You're looking at about $1,400 for the part in about 550 for the labor including bleeding the brakes somewhere right around there The part you can buy online and get sent to your Toyota dealer and get the best discount probably around 11:50 for the brake part you have to call around to get your best price your service provider doesn't have to do that He's just going to pay whatever the first phone call he makes like any other shop.
