Hard times hit and I need tires. My Prius guy offered me Summit Ultramax a/s tires at a ridiculous price if included with some other work. He swears by them and installs them on all his Toro cars and his cars.
This costs less than half of what I was going to pay for Mich Defenders.
I would really like to know of anyone here has tried them and what they thought of the tire.
    Thanks a billion.
No... I really do not trust reviews online.

I found those tires on the Walmart website, The specs look good, but they're only a 50K mile tire.

Take a look at the Armstrong Blue-Trac 95H XL, they're good for 85K miles and closer to the Michelin specs. I've only had these on my car for a month and did take a mpg hit. They ride better than the OEMs that got punctures in two of the 4 tires. These are heavier tires with twice as much "meat" than the OEMs.

Yeah, I was going to have a new axle put in because my boot split (only 152K on the car... toyota said it happened over 15 k ago.) And replace the sway bar bushings (or links)...

He gave me an estimate of $280 for the 4 Summits installed: but it does not include free rotations or apparently road hazard?

The reviews are confusing. Some contradict themselves like "Ride is not as quiet as competitors" Then "Ride is exceptionally quiet."

I was looking at $680 for discounted Mich Defenders at BJ's w/excellent road hazzard and free Rotations.

I could have all that work done (axle, bushings, and tires) for about $752... it is tempting.

I drive it like a sports car and do 25K a year. I not want to wind up in a ditch. While swears by them...

I have seen reviews that say hard to balance and bubbled side walls.

Thanks for the recommendation, but there are no Armstrong dealers within 100M radius of me (Charlotte)
