The power and torque plots you show for the "normal muffler" bear remarkably little resemblance to the performance plots Toyota originally published, which has been shown in a sticky thread Technical thread here ever since the model was introduced 14+ years ago.

Regardless of what I reposted from the Ganador site, the fact still remains.

This will allow more exhaust flow than OEM.

The biggest restriction to exhaust outflow still has to be the catalytic converter.

Good thing I have a new Magnaflow catalytic converter which is made to be high flow.

That Blitz warm air intake paired with the JET Performance MAF and the Magnaflow.

Then toss in the Ganador muffler.

Everthing will be flowing very nice

I hope the results work out for both of you. I've just been screwed by hype so many times in the past by self serving vendors who didn't deliver the goods.

Have you done any investigation on what triggers the P0420 code? If there's no catalyst, I would suspect the exhaust could never pass the "test" performed, which looks at storage capacity/efficiency of the catalyst. But, one never knows.

isnt that why I would use one of those oxygen extenders right? This is still all new playing field for me, I just hope no engine codes when I turn the M20A motor on in my Gen 3...

Muffler installed today, disconnected the 12v to reset the ECU.

Got to 70mph very easy on the streets.
Will test tomorrow early drive to work.

Also it is not loud at all.

We will see how loud it gets with harder driving and over 70mph.

For your information, it has been done.

Early in this thread, I posted the link to this YouTube video of a Gen 3 Prius muffler delete.

Your old fart wish becomes true, today! Very late to this Kids Party. I called it a fart can on another thread, then found this original!

All these sorts of things reminds me of when we were kids assembling plastic car models. You could never build it as shown.
You'd always add More Chrome and gee gaas to the model.

    Yes And........:whistle::whistle:

So where's this fabled Dyno Testing?

Did it move to a different thread?
You're not listing your 'Water Injection' system, and the other Gee Gaas that you peddle in your long list'O Links.

Besides, the info you posted from this Gee Gaa Muffler seller claimed " +4.4 HP. " (I converted from ps).
Do you really think anybody's Butt Dyno can feel that? That's the difference between a hot or cold day, or Denver and the Seaside.

Imagine your mom, arms crossed in front, yelling at you "What did you do....";)
That's me.... "Did you poke out your cat converter"?

It must smell wonderful in your camp site when you fire up that stinker in the morning. I hope you're the only selfish jerk that has done that.
Has any of your buds asked why your car smells so bad when they have to follow you on a dirt road in the mountains?

I like all the functional mods you have done to your Prii. I'd be tempted to lift mine if your site had product to sell.
At least you are not Adding Chrome, like Azusa...

May you be stuck in traffic with nothing but Ricers w/o Cat Converters surrounding you, and no wind to blow the stench away.
And maybe a few 60's hot rods also making stench, even though they have lots of Chrome.

If you must know everything, then you should probably know that I never poked out my catalytic converter! The smell you're worried about is something you can rest easy on. And just so you know, I’ve spent the greater part of the last 12 months optimizing things, so in just a few weeks, I’ll be able to proudly say there are no backorders, and all items will ship the same day when ordered before 9am Pacific Time. And if there’s something you’d like to have made that no one else does, let me know—I can make dreams come true!c
