Multifunction display went black and not responding at all, car drives fine though

    Hey Guys,
    Has anyone got the chance to find a possible fix for this issue?
    I have the same issue with my 2008 Prius with 160K miles. The MFD sometimes will turn on but eventually will turn black OR starts rasterizing and will turn all white. The side buttons are not functional at all.

    The easiest way is to replace the MFD with a working one.

    If you are an electrical technician who repairs electronics, you can disassemble the MFD into separate boards and find some unsoldered electronic component there and replace it.

    But the upper option is faster.
