So to start off, many thanks to all whom have posted here! I’ve been lurking for years. now to the issue.
I had the head gasket go on my ‘13 v(wagon), yay. Did all of that and it won’t start. Seems like it’s not firing. Traction bat turns over nice and fast but it just won’t start. Starting fluid no change. Replaced coils and plugs. Charged traction battery. Cleaned maf. I’ve redone the timing twice. What am I missing? I get the ready prompt on the dash. No codes pending just the permanent ones from before head gasket: random misfire cyl 1 mis etc. plus a 0343 cam pos sensor a high input…..(this why redid timing). But no pending codes. Any help appreciated. I feel like I am missing something like a plug or a hose but I’ve been over it so many times I can see it in my sleep and haven’t found anything.
    thanks in advance!

140k. Throttle body was pretty clean when I got in there. I soaked and brushed and soaked and brushed again. I can pull the intake apart again tomorrow.

Was the timing chain off the first time?

Some have had a pcv hose disconnected.

Timing chain was off twice. So far…..

    I’ll check the PVC too

Yep. First time missed that but for the Christmas tree of lights on the dash!

The hybrid battery switch reinstalled completely, needs to be flipped down and slid laterally?

Was the timing chain incorrectly installed (eg “off timing”) the first time?
