I'm preparing to do my very first oil change - in my life!

After watching a few Youtube videos: Opened the hood to see what oil is supposed to go in, they said it would be marked on the motor oil cap but my cap is just black and does not have that information :(

Where else can I find this info or if you know the answer kindly reply below.

    Thanks!

You can get electronic versions of (the usa version of) owners manuals and maintenance guides free from Toyota. There may be another site with eu-specific stuff.

tl;dr: any API "SN" rated 5W-30 motor oil will be fine. It's a relatively low performance engine that (thankfully) doesn't need anything weird or expensive- every grocery store carries it though you'll get the best deals at a bigbox store.

5W30 covers almost all conditions of this engine except extreme cold like -20 or better so if you're not in those extreme conditions you're probably not going to be doing anything but running 5W-30 pick your poison Dino oil synthetic send me synthetic blends doesn't really matter The one NZ engine is very forgiving The oil choice is going to be probably one of the least of your problems maybe keep it clean and changed this engine is very rarely drama-prone at all unlike the ZZ or ZR engine is the people like to call it in the Prius 3 same engine in a Corolla is no problem but in the Prius with Atkinson duty cycle and all of that sort of thing it just doesn't seem to be a real thing kind of a shame.
