12v battery choice

    Choice is limited. Any suggestions from the attached. The real cheap one at the bottom you cannot vent to the outside.

    Yuasa makes very good batteries have used em in my Italian bikes 20 plus years.kinfa like older Deka!

    what is the yuasa warranty there? here, it is 8 years, 2 of replacement and 6 pro rated

    Yuasa is 12 months plus whatever the retailer offers. Dealer gives three years in total on the oem Yuasa. Ebay have them for £175 but they have 2019 on them. Dealer is over £200 last time I checked. Will an unvented one be safe as I'll just get that. What's the risk from a bit of gas leaking from the battery into the cabin.

    I wouldn't be overly worried about an AGM battery being unvented. I would be more worried about a regular flooded lead/acid battery being installed in the cabin.

    Not wanting to ignite any flame war or anything, that is just my level of risk in the safety stakes.
