This happened years ago and then stopped. Picked my car up from the body shop and it's happening again. I will have a/c on blowing on face and then it will randomly go to face and feet. What's going on and how can I stop it?!

Did you maybe switch from NORM mode to ECO mode? Whenever you change modes the A/C settings change.

Both of my Priii have a button on the center console that allows the driver to select between PWR, NORM, and ECO modes. those modes re-map the acceleration curve and other settings.

My car has the recycling air button and the blowing towards head and feet and then another that has an arrow and some kind of dashed arrow. None fix the problem.

Is there a windshield blowing button? How does it react when pressed?
Can you take a photo of the panels or a video of these processes?
