Best source for Toyota OEM wiper inserts for Prius v?

Local dealer wants $16/each. Not installed

You can buy them for half the price from an online Toyota dealer. Try to find a local dealer online that allows local pickup.

They have been covered in the aftermarket before I don't think only Toyotas have to be used trico and a few other companies probably have you covered I know I've put new inserts and Bosch hybrid wiper assemblies before the rubber part It's not really hard to do takes about 2 minutes aside so it can be worked around I don't have all the part numbers in front of me I exclusively use on all of my vehicles the hybrid wiper blade looks like it has an armadillo shell over the rubber that is all I use I don't use any beams or any of that nonsense I have when they first came out they don't last that long they float things go on with them they squeak a lot or make wiping noises whereas the hybrids I have not had the problem doesn't matter who makes the hybrids Rain-X Bosch and a few others make the hybrid armadillo covered assemblies I've been using these about 10 11 years now and that's all I use so I can't tell you about the beams and all the other business I have changed the rubbers on Bosch icon beams quite a few times with Bosch's own replaceable inserts made for other style wiper assemblies but made by Bosch that's all I can tell you here in North Carolina the replacement business for my 2010 we're only like 799 a piece at the dealer walk-in matter of fact I think they even offered to put them on for my girl I don't remember but she went over she was trying to do everything right with the 2010 vehicle and keep it natural and nice or whatever folks call that so she wasn't having any of the wiper blades and nonsense I was putting on my Prius. She was going to get the real thing and she did and that's what they cost.

I bought a roll of commercial bus silicon wiper blade refills and just cut them down to size. I think my wiper blade refill are different from yours; my neighbor's 2019 Camry doesn't fit my universal blade refills. I buy them online, starting with the OEM part number and drill down from there.

    Hope this helps

I got the Toyota wipers for our ‘10 through Amayama, good price. Do check with dealership too; sometimes their prices are decent.

I use one or two inch longer Valeo beam/bracketless wipers for a larger cleared area, left, right and rear.

For my v wagon I have maintained the oem aero blades using inserts. Just recently at 300,000 I replaced the arms because one became weak. I used Hoover Toyota online in that case as the spring loaded arms were a little pricey. At the time I replaced the blades as well simply because the paint was worn off.

I did just that. The same dealer that quoted me $16/each at the counter had them at around $8/each online with free pickup. Go figure
