    These and other issues:
    * always - Right headlight is very weak
    * always - I hear a noise coming out of the front screen, sounds like a squeaky fan that needs oil
    * always -the keyfob doesn't work
    * rarely, the front display panel will go dark intermittently
    * very rarely, the car won't turn off with one push - I have to hold down the power button to shut it down

I changed ignition coils and plugs on cylinders 2 and 4. Now I'm not getting a P3002 anymore.

Other than that, it actually runs OK and gets 43MPG. Battery seems Ok. 267336 miles. Right now, this car is my job, so I'd like to drive it for another year if possible.

I am looking for guidance on how to analyze the issues. ODBII Scan attached. My gut feeling is that it's a corroded wiring harness(s), likely due to water damage. Not sure if all the coolant issues are entirely electrical in nature. Let me know if you have other ideas. Hoping to minimize repair costs.

Was the error list scanned before or after replacing faulty spark plugs?
Errors on misfiring (P0300 P0303 P0304) are more critical than errors on the coolant thermos system (P1116 P1121).
The thermos is designed to pump hot liquid into the thermos after stopping the car and turning it off, and then subsequently pumping hot liquid into the engine when turning on the car.
Most likely, this is a move by environmental marketers.
The car continues to work even if the thermos is faulty.
But the errors and the check engine on the dashboard will be an eyesore.

Your scan pretty much answers all the questions You want to deal with the coolant control valve fairly swiftly It does need to be working The coolant heat storage tank doesn't really have to be working but that's a simple fix to change that sensor to steal one off of another car that you can see at a junkyard It's in the left front fender forward of the wheel there's a tank that looks like a big thermos a sensor screwed in the side of it and a little pump to the other side of the tank That's that You have the code that's even telling you that the thermistor or the thermal switch is bad never seen that before so I would change that personally that'll stop that code The misfire codes must have been bad coils or crappy plugs by the sound of things at the 267,000 mi this is a car you got and you've had to do no work to and now you're wondering why it near $300,000 mi it needs some work that's kind of funny at least anybody that does any work or lives any life. So it is time If you don't want to do any work go out and buy a much newer car Good luck with that and see how that works for you this car here you can carry to $600,000 mi pretty easily well most people can let's say that. Many cannot many would just rather slide into a Chevy Aveo and call it a day but then you'll be doing a lot of sliding from then on into another car with the Prius I might not have to slide into another car for a long time 10 plus years If you're going to look at normal maintenance as being really intrusive and not being a thing then just keep buying later model cars when they go bad trade them in and get something else You just said it yourself this is your work your job is in this car well you don't have very good job security because you have planned for that That's not the car's fault You have the codes there everything that needs to be repaired is right there in the text there's no need for me to read it back to you.
