Knocking zone coming from steering over bumps

    Rumor has it that there's a plastic star gear at the bottom of the steering column, but the parts diagram doesn't show that part. I already replaced all the tie rods and lower control arms but that sound is still there over bumps and can be reproduced when jiggling the wheel back and forth. Any opinions?

    Those look really good. I have a torn rubber boot on my upper sway bar link on one side. Don't know how bad this will prove to be on the joint, but will replace someday if it starts having a problem.

    The springs do "look" better on the new struts, but I wonder, since springs can look identical and have very different spring-rates, if they're just more coils of metal to get a similar spring rate to OEM's. The couple of pounds isn't much of a difference, which is good, and those look great....just wonder how the springs will hold up compared to OEM. They might be better.
