Any ideas how one might display Treo 700wx browser on the MFD??? Or ideas on how to display a touchscreen internet browser on the MFD?

I think you're out of luck here. The MFD has no standard video input, and the Treo has no video output.

You can't display the Treo's video anywhere else either.

June Fabrics has an app that will allow you to output your Treo Screen to a laptop, so all you need to do is get that fed to the MFD, possibly by one of Coastal eTech's packages.....

That won't quite do the job. It appears that the PDAReach program (which runs on Windows) "pulls out" the screen contents from the PDA. It does not appear to be a program that "pushes" the screen from the PDA to the computer.

So, without a Windows computer, that ain't gonna work.

But it was still more than I thought was possible.

THanks for the helpful replies. I suppose I could use the Treo to access the internet then via http://www.junefabrics.com/pdanet/index.php running on a Windows XP PC output the video via Lockpick to the MFD. But with the Lockpic and a dedicated PC the price tag approaches $1,000 and I would still need access to a keyboard/mouse while I'm driving...ANy other thoughts?

Yeah, and once you've got a laptop in the car, why bother with the Treo at all?

    For fast EVDO data access.

The 700wx uses a square 240x240 pixel screen, blowing this up on a 7? inch rectangular screen, if it were possible, would look horrible anyway. I think the best solution for using a browser with the MFD would be to try to connect a mac mini then connect the mac mini to the Treo to provide wireless data access.

OK, so you use the Treo as a type of modem.

But when y'all start surfing the web, please put a huge flashing light atop the car so the rest of us can pull to the side of the road and stay clear.
