Is this guy close to unlocking the 2006?

    I tripped over this link and wonder if this guy is close to finding the way to 'OPEN" up all the NAV and PHONE functionality while driving? What da ya think??

    Looks more like the standard diagnostic screens to me. In the '04-'05 override, those screens aren't used.

    Not that I would even be able to access the menus for the override, since my Prius doesn't have the Navigation option, and I don't have a BT phone. (I'm the one whose site the link points to in case that wasn't clear) It's still worth a good read though... the thing I find most interesting are the indications that the Prius supports IEEE1394 and USB.

    Yeah, I saw that too on the last screen posted at the bottom of his page. Makes me wonder as well, Hhhmmmm.... what can I use that for ?????? :D

    Well, if you can find the ports, presumably for dumping the contents of the memory to a USB flash or HD or some such. Not really sure. Would be fun to find out though.
