If you look at my posts of my car you will see the wheels. The wheels are what I am selling-they happen to come with center caps, lug nuts and tires that are probably still good for 5K miles-. The rims are stock Scion wheels and have never been curbed. I can take some pictures of them if you are serious and are either local for direct pickup, or willing to pay shipping. Let me know. They are available now and yes, $200 for the works. Thanks

<_< You might get better results in "Private Sales" - Go: PriusChat > Private Sales likely the area those seeking Prius Mods, etc. would be checking.

    Good price for the package!
I would recommend posting this on a Scion board since there might be greater demand there, if someone has curbed or bent their stock Scion wheels. I'm not sure how much those wheels cost from the stealership, but I remember on my Spec-V Sentra, each stock 17" rim was 500USD. I would imagine the costs would be along the same lines. I was really happy to pay $200 for one, used Spec-V rim :)

I would gladly take them for the price, if you could ship them... but I need to get a job! Especially if they need tires too. I guess they could sit in the garage until I can get tires though. How much do you think shipping would cost?

I am not sure, probably $110 or so. They are going to come from 94526 zip code and they weigh about 42 pounds each and there are 4 packages. Check with UPS or Fed Ex or something and you will know. I'll tell you what, if you buy them I will cover anything over $100 on shipping. So then at least you know $300 is the total cost.

Could you have the tires removed and send just the wheels? That would probably save a lot on the shipping.

Do a search to double check to see if I know what I'm talking about or not, but I believe that the wheels you're contemplating are significantly heavier than the OEM Prius ones.

I recall reading somewhere that you may see a 3-5mpg reduction in mileage, but I'm not certain about this.

    They look pretty nice, though!

The original tires on stock Prius wheels are 185mm wide, readily accessable tires for 17" wheels seem to be at least 215mm wide, more than an inch wider so it adds at least that much more friction and weight. I still have the stock tires and wheels, so I can't answer your question from experience but I would say it will decrease. By how much, I don't know. DocVijay says he can maintain very close FE even with the Scion wheels, but others tend to say around 3 to 5 MPG decrease. If you buy the wheels expecting about 5 MPG loss, then you should be happy with them. If you don't expect a noticable decrease, you may be dancing on a fine line... Just my thoughts.
