The car label on my door shows weights however I can't figure out what they mean apart from 1805 kg denoting the gross weight.

    What does:

    1- 1020 kg
    2- 980 kg

    Denote?

Trying to figure out the max weight the car can handle.

You mean the max service weight that the vehicle can carry the four occupants and their small luggage or whatever it should say right there on that label or on another label nearby I don't remember what it is for the generation two or three but it has a thing that says and then it says in America the GVWR which is the gross vehicle weight and then it breaks that down to front and rear of the car so you can see the split of weight going on I guess this label here from Europe or something I don't know how it's laid out but generally the car is allowed to take like 750 lb that's the passengers and their luggage or extra stuff shopping whatever 750 comes to mind of course if you have an SUV or a RAV4 or Highlander it may be a tad more than that granted but we're talking Prius here and I'm not sure if your Gen 2 or gen 3 your owner's manual should actually State this early on in the pages I remember seeing it in my older Corollas 74 through 82 it was 750 back then but I don't know what it would be today I wouldn't think it is gone up by very much

Yes internal carrying capacity passengers and trunk/boot filled.

On Google found variations 800-950lb so just wanted to find which it exactly is on this as assuming it may vary slightly between models.

Yeah you're in a gen 3 so I imagine by that time the 8:50 to 950 up from the 750 of previous years of stuff makes sense that doesn't say in the manual or maybe you don't have it. I think our Persona manual still here I'll take a look I'm sure it's online never really thought about it I told a plastic trailer with 2,000 lb in it not regularly but often pretty much flat land just moving around the town that I live in no highway or flogging something 500 miles I went 200 miles or so no maybe 400 and picked up a zero turn mower and drove all the way back from the hills of Virginia to Central North Carolina with no problem and that would have been with me my girl the trailer and the zero turn which was definitely over 750 pounds total.

I get 950 from my Toyota 13 persona as it came equipped and I don't see any differences for other 2013 Prius that aren't personas and I didn't look back at my 2010 original gen 3 I'm assuming it's 950 also.

Yeah unfortunately I don't have an owners manual with it but did download an electronic one not long ago will give that a quick look as well.

Thanks for the help and info!
