Greetings! Last night, I was driving home (2013 Prius V) and I heard a giant clunk and rattling in the front passenger-side wheel well. It sounded like I ran over a rock or something. At the next side street, I checked under the car and saw a liquid dripping. I touched it and it was not greasy. It felt like water. I followed the drip up and noticed a little hose hanging down from a metal plate. It was dark and the street was still busy, so I could not locate the item that created the clunk. I reluctantly drove home (~ 5 miles). No dash indicators appeared. When I got home, I took a little video. If anyone knows what this little hose is and how I can fix it, I would greatly appreciate a bit of advice. Thanks! Video:
AC condensation from evaporator. Normal. I would be more worried about that frequent buzzing. Sounds like the brake booster pump under the master cylinder (brake booster assembly).
Your first guess may be right. Or it might be something else. The dripping hose is likely a red herring, but still, you heard something significant.
