The engineer who hid the driver's side axle behind the subframe and put ribs of aluminum around the axle so you can't use a normal puller, I hope gets forever wet socks. I managed to somehow mess up, what I think is the output shaft seal? Trying to use a crowbar to get it out. So now I'm going to have to give Toyota probably $300 of my hard earned money to put a new axle in (I have the new axle).
All you need is a lift and a long thick crowbar. Any mechanical shop would do it. Why do you need a dealer?
