sensing electronic key

    I am having a hard time setting up the car to sense the key, and change its driver settings to suit the individual. The are able to sense the key and unlock the doors and and adjust the seats, but for more adjustments, I have to log in and produce the stupid password.

    What am I missing?

    Perhaps you made the same bonehead move I did. Keeping the spare key fob in the car.
