I’m finding that I can have the AC off but still get cool air coming thru the vents on a warm day. Other times I try to switch the outside air circulation switch on or off but the switch light doesn’t come on or shut off. I’ve also been told there is a way to turn the AC to eco mode within the info screen but I do not see this as an option.

I’ve reviewed the AC section in the manual. Any ideas? I see others having this issue as well. Thanks

I find the easiest and quickest way is to press the AUTO HVAC and toggle the Drive Mode Console Switch (Near Shifter) to ECO.

Woah, this works! Been looking for this answer for a long time! I was able to change the custom mode to have eco drivetrain and non eco AC, and now I can switch the drive mode to Eco if I want the eco AC and Custom if I don't want the eco AC.

    Thanks!

Can the AC be set to ECO without the drivetrain being set to ECO? I thought ECO mode was best for city driving.

I’ve seen people reporting getting better mpg when using normal mode for mixed highway driving. My only interest in AC being in ECO mode is for fuel economy.
