Featured Trump tariffs put the US auto industry in disarray

    So, whom are the Trump tariffs punishing? The People and companies of the US, as most people would have guessed. The Ford CEO is normally very Trump-friendly, but he has spoken up about how bad it has become for the US auto industry now. Let’s see how the United Auto Workers will feel about this, who were cheering about the tariffs.

    The last Ford factory I drove by didn't appear to be shut down, and if they all did shut down that would leave an increased market share for Toyota - eh?

    Which specific tariffs?
    What are they now?
    Against whom?


    Like many US Submariners I have fond memories of the Sun, but not so much for their journalism.... ;)

    Let’s hope we are lucky. It will take a while before the Trump tariffs and Trump Middle East wars take their tolls. It could be a year or two.

    That's what Chamberlain thought - several decades ago. All his fears came to fruition anyways - because he never bothered to act up front, in the very fashion England had to do anyways. Funny thing about all of the pacifistic folks that agreed with chamberlain. They quickly shut their ignorant pie holes quickly once they realized the consequence of their stupidity.
