Have a 2012 Prius five. AC seemed a little warm so I decided to add some 134 a. First time I overfilled making the compressor cut on and off. I quickly relieved to the proper pressure and everything worked fine for about a month or six weeks. One or two times over the past week or so it would not blow cold. Today I hope gauge is up to it, and it was all the way in the red. I relieved pressure again to make it register in the green. What could cause pressure to overload without adding any Freon and it working for six weeks?

Okay we're getting ahead of ourselves here first off the AC has no hi side wen not running so it shows about 100 pounds in red or very close . Start car air on hi etc now see gauge plummet to 37 on the gauge blue or lo . The separate sides do no exist until compressor running .
