    Yup.
Anything above 12mpg is a bonus for me. :) Came from a gas guzzler and I drive how I like to drive.

I'm at almost 15k miles and I was always running around 44-47mpg.
I recently put on some 19 inch 235s and hitting 42-45mpg now.

Definitely going to try what Preebee said though--going to turn off my AC for a while. I've never really turned it off since day one as I never considered how it might affect MPG.

I turned off the climate control and saw an improvement. Now that it's warmer I go to and from the office along the lake about 15 miles each way and get 70-ish mpg.

Indication over 65 MPG tank average, total range over 610 miles. Just trying to not use the AC. Will be interesting to see what the actual tank mileage sorts out to. best so far closing in on 5k on the odometer. Think I'll pass on the 5 k service or drop and fill the oil without touching the filter. Dealership does it for free at 10k. Base model LE.

IMHO; you should change the filter too - the OEM filter isn't that expensive. The point of the early oil change is to dump out all the break-in debris, leaving a dirty filter seems to be counterproductive. Kinda like taking a shower/bath then putting your dirty underwear/clothes back on.

    Just my 2-cents.....

Tank average measured at the pump is 65.5, even with gas at $3 a gallon that's still under 5 cents a mile. If I drive slower it will sneak past 70 MPG but staying away from idiots usually drops it down into the mid 60's by the time I need to refill the tank. At 5k miles the oil was still full and not even dirty. Most of my trips are better than 50% battery only, even a 100 mile trip to the kids house.
If it runs more than half the time on the battery, then I can just wait until I get to 10k and let the selling dealership do the oil change for free.
94 today and I did not turn on the AC, close to 70 MPG even driving normally.
I can keep it close with the AC on just low fan speed, recirculate, and temp as high as she can stand it. Higher speeds and AC knock it down 5 MPG or a little more if it gets close to 100 outside.
    DTE 632 right now.

By way of comparison, my LE AWD has been averaging about 62-64 MPG per tankful (air temps above 50F, tires inflated to 38 PSI). That’s with use of AC, and mix of driving conditions (no hypermiling by any means), and fairly hilly terrain. When I drive to work, I notice that I tend to average about 70-75 MPG; meanwhile, on the reverse trip I usually average somewhere around 58-60 MPG. The difference is largely attributable to elevation gain/loss (my drive in is mostly downhill, vs. the opposite on the way back), as well as relative time of day and corresponding HVAC use. Honestly, I have not noticed much of a difference in fuel economy between the “Eco” and “Normal” driving modes.
