Why I'm not worried about a US invasion of Canada

A rejoinder to Poilievre's sky-is-falling alarmism:


Note that Canada's line is the light red line, not the dark red one (Japan's). Canada's Debt to GDP is the 3rd lowest of the G7, behind Germany and Great Britain, and falling the fastest. (Also note that the US ratio was mostly falling during the Biden years. Most assuredly that will not be the case over the next 3 1/2 years.)

 

Have to sort of admire the tactic of splitting the repost of a "TDS" article into five separate diversionary posts, so any unrefuted substantive ones get pushed that much further back in the history.

I suppose that the idea of the US bothering itself to 'invade' Canada is absurd enough to be 'non-political.'

It's a lovely place, and hey.....we have our 'ugly Americans'.....

 

I would agree Canada is a lovely place. Have had nothing but good experiences there and with Canadians.

When we visited Niagra Falls we opted to stay on the Canadian side of the falls for the week - had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed our stay.

We have a large equestrian center in our area and the equestrian center, horse shows/competitions and campground are very popular with Canadians. It would not be at all unusual to run into Canadians in the fall, summer and spring in our area.

 

Waiting on OP to do the right thing?
