DIY hybrid battery reconditioning - where/how to start

    Looking for direction on where/how to recondition my hybrid battery packs.

    Links and hints of where to learn about doing this would be appreciated. I have a sense what I'll need to do is test each cell and pick the best ones to make 2 batteries into one.

    Here's what I have -

    All are Gen2.

    Per Dr Prius, I have:

    1) a Dorman about 2.5yrs old with Cell -7 P3017 issue. also on a Dr Prius full test I got a warning poor balance on block 14
    2) a unknown one on a parts car with a Cell-13 P3023 issue. I could not get it going fast enough to complete the full test and the results gave me issue with Cell-13

    Both threw the P3000 and P0A80 codes.

    exactly! and I bet there are some better than others so thanks for posting one to get started on.
