I absolutely love how my new car in Reservoir Blue! To preserve its appearance I will be doing a full PPF followed by a full ceramic coating. It is $5200. I think I may have gotten carried away.

Has anyone else done something so extravagant to the Prius PHEV?

Note: The picture I posted is before the PPF treatment.

PPF is a plastic film? And then wax over that?

I’ve heard those films are a bear to get off, down the road.

$5200 USD is about what we paid for our first, new car, in ‘81 lol.

Hi! I posted my own PPF thing in another thread under "Paint Protection? PPF or Wrap?"

I went overboard as well and color PPF my whole 2025 Prius Plugin XSE in Royal Green Tpu #2034. Sooo happy! LoL also had it ceramic coated too. Paid extra for the color and some but it was "only" a little more than your price. Account for maybe different locations as well. You can find more pics at the other thread but if its not enough, I do plan to take a few more aoon so let me know if theres an angle you want. Its been awhile since I have used the forums lol so kinda forgot how to reference other posts or pics. 20250626_113056(1).jpg

That green looks amazing! A green like that is a close 2nd behind blue for car colors I've always wanted.

See below. Yeah, i was looking at this nice blue and a red that was similair to my old 2013 black cherry red. But opted for a completely different color. Wish i took a picture of the other two. Anyways, hope this reference helps. Oh and it is the PPF film I selected; the shiny black trim you see was oem done with clear PPF.

Very nice color! That is my wife’s favorite color. Blue is mine. (Obviously)

It’s going to be hard next week when I don’t get to drive my new car at all while it is getting its film on. When you got yours back did you have to keep it out of the sun or rain for a few days. Or, was it ready to go anywhere as soon as you got it?
