After I replaced my combo meter and put the dash back together, I discovered that the driver's side right air vent was apparently not seated properly and no air was coming out of it (although it was flush with everything else). It's getting pretty hot now, and I need the cool air from that vent. Is there a way of removing and re-seating it without taking apart the entire driver's side dash? That is, do I need to remove the bottom panel, left side vent, and upper panel before I pry the vent out, or can I just pry it out with those other pieces in place? I know it's not that difficult to pull apart the driver's side dash — I also replaced the MFD, so this will be my third time doing it — but if I don't need to disassemble it, I'd rather not. Yes, I really am lazy. Thanks in advance for any help!
If I'm not mistaken you have to have the power button panel pulled off the plastic dash . The painted area of vent is covered by button panel I do believe just look at a picture of rt or left vent it has a lil edge that the panel drops on . So you'd break vent etc trying to remove without panel off . YouTube is your friend look at the edges of the vents .
