I have the Nexpower V3 GT purchased in November 2024 and currently has 10k miles. The front control arm and other suspension components broke so the car is not worth repairing for me. Any thoughts on the battery market value if I were to sell it? Are there other things I could do with it? Honestly the battery has been working great. MPG seems slightly better. No issues at all being parked in the Southern California sun. Appreciate any thoughts on my options or better yet hit me up if interested in the battery or parts from a black 2007 125k miles. I’m in Long Beach CA.

Thank you. Main question is around market value of a used sodium ion battery. It’s nearly new and Nexpower is currently sold out, but then again sodium ion nor the company are well known
marketing will be the problem. you might get a grand on ebay or facebook if someone notices. mention it in the sodium ion thread here as well.
Hey Prij1, I've got a still working NiMH battery pack (still decent per Dr Prius app) but I've been toying with the idea of going with Sodium Ion. NexPower is getting their new shipment delivered (with upgraded cooling design, I believe, and hopefully a battery-management system with cutoff) in 2 weeks, per Jack. They start taking orders in 9 days. I don't really feel motivated to buy a new pack though, so refurbishing mine with a $700 Prolong Reconditioner was looking to be the best way to go. Nevertheless, if I could buy yours for a lot less than a new one, that might tip me back to going Sodium ion. I know yours is likely V3, but the lack of a battery management system not having a cutoff switch mechanism worried me a bit. I think Jack has addressed that with the new packs, but again...I'm not looking to spend that kind of money and if I could be tipped into yours, and go sodium ion, I'd be probably willing to take the risk. The options are numerous (taking my battery out and reconditioning cells and rearranging them when I rebalance the pack doesn't bother me...I can do that) but the sodium ion idea seems good, and I'm an adventurer. Let me know if you'd think about a price around that of the Prolong Reconditioner ($714 for the package on Hybrid Automotive) and I could be motivated to drive out to San Bernadino, if you'd be willing to meet there, or pay for shipping (I live in Tucson).
