sad thing is - some don't know fascism from Shinola. As was recently said - if a little bit of order (vs letting true fascist burn down cities) causes people to freak out, they should wear a helmet & shoulder pads.
Go to a place like china, & start complaining about the government, & when you mysteriously disappear? That's when you can start thinking about what fascism is.

Yes that trip to Detroit was truly eye opening. That was ¼ a century ago & the auto industry was already decimated. Then there were the intermittent sounds of gunshots, if you were to step outside the Motor City Hotel.

In 1972 around the time of the "big pay raise," I was an E2 Marine stationed in Kansas City renting in an affordable, "low income", area where I heard gun shots every other day.

What burned down city? You should just link your right wing cult daily news feed to here. If you think protesting is fascism you can always move to elsewhere. Protesting is the foundation of America, you know, throw the tea in the harbor.

Your boy tried to stop an election with violence. That’s the big one.

Fascism is the foundation of the Trump administration. He himself called it the “Fourth Reich.”

Trump campaign video includes references to a “unified Reich” | AP News

It does not end at cracking down on protesters. He has been decimating the universities (not just Harvard but all) and education in general, launched a war on science, launched a war on diversity ironically calling diversity racism, launched a war on immigrants and citizens of other countries, decimating the independent government organizations so that he can have a full control of the government, and so on and so on.

Wait until it gets worse. Do you think there is going to be 2028 elections or he will declare martial law due to emergency with country being invaded and cancel the elections? We are talking about a guy who did not accept the results of the previous election and incited a riot to forcefully overthrow the members of the congress and have his own vice president hanged.

    So comical. Somebody else said that somebody else said . . . . . . . .
    but best of all - from the so-calle"proof link". (& my favorite) ;
    how convenient.
No one has a copy? My favorite also
Let me point out the assanity of this via equally fake. "CNN just spotted a trump assassinator & did nothing". Sorry - but the video was pulled down. LOL
But maybe some can't see thar kind of fake stupidity?
Some, are those who will grasp at any straw to find something, anything bad that they can prove up how "horrific" things are.
Wouldn't most prefer not to have Trump? Of course, but when offered the choice between Kamala or biden, you pick your poison.
    EDIT
Of note, at least one of the reporters on this story was one who insisted the hunter laptop was fake, as well as the steel dossier was real.

yea - no company ever struggled prior to this admin.
    Meanwhile markets are up.
So much for chicken little sky is falling gloom & doomers.
Great thing about being a gloom & doomers is if gloom happens - ya get to say, "see? I was right! - I'm smart"
When it's the exact opposite of gloom happens - everyone's happy things are so good - that no one's concerned with mocking their dumbness.
    its a win win!

I hope the best for the president, but I do not put my faith in princes who cannot bring salvation (Psalm 146:3).

I'm happy for what I have. I'd like a few other things, like owning my own home, but don't tell me to move to Alabama and work two full-time jobs just to fulfil such a dream.

I'd say Automakers are their own worst enemy right now with their outer space pricing on new vehicles. They see the downward trends in the economy, upward inflation for the Consumer base...yet are still going higher and higher on their sticker prices. Regardless of what the president does or where inflation goes, they are going to have to slash prices to get the industry moving again. Some people and industries are taking advantage of the dollar collapsing and accelerating it prematurely.

That's Communism. CCP is so far from Fascism, and so is Socialism in case you try that. One does not lead to another or Sweden and Denmark would have Communist dictators, they are well oiled Socialist countries.

Maybe to a degree, but at the same time, if they all keep their high prices, then buyers don't have any choice, so the expensive cars will move since there is no alternative.

If you need a car, you can't just go buy a cheap car from Mexico and drive it accross the boarder.

And the used car market is limited, which is why it too has remained high. If everyone bought used then used cars would be more expensive than new cars. You need a flood of new cars to make used cars cheap, and, well, the expensive new car situation keeps used cars expensive which means we have no choice again.

No more $1,000 cars that actually run. No more $5,000 cars that will get you anywhere. No more $10,000 that don't have dents and ripped interiors.

that's an incredible notion ...... far from Fascism? sure - that's why all the Uyghurs are segregated for purposes of 'retraining'. As well as simply disappearing.
aren't we already a 'well-oiled' socialist country to a major extent? dipping our toes in slowly at 1st many decades ago w/ social security? then Medicare? Medicaid? Food stamps? welfare? Then ObamaCare? - where he promised we could all keep our existing doctors & medical plans? Our MD (& many many others) dropped us faster than the plague. Others had their rates go through the roof so yea one could in theory call that at least a ½ truth. Loving our socialism.

That's still Communism my friend. You're thinking too much in terms of 1940's Germany here, Commies do it too..it doesn't define the term Fascism or Communism. Perhaps Authoritarianism since that behavior can be attributed to some degree in any "ISM" type government. Either way, not good.

The U.S. has adopted Socialist ideas but only implemented them partially and they kind of failed as you might agree there. It's because Chrony Capitalism and Oligarch government systems used it as a teaser so shut certain minority groups up so they wouldn't riot. How many homeless fentynl/meth encampments do you see in Sweden or Denmark? Or even more modern Germany? The U.S. needs to pick an "ISM" and stick with it or we'll be in this wasteland stasis forever.

People have no money, those cars will NEVER move. The alternative is literally keep fixing their current vehicles until they can't then go massively in debt or walk to work.

The used car market is actually FLOODED, meaning the demand is high so that's why people and small dealerships are also asking fortunes for say...used Gen 3 Prius'. Because they HEARD on the news inflation is up, so why the hell not? Add $3k to every car on the lot. Have you seen the overflow lots of large Ford/GM/ Dodge/Jeep dealers recently? Thousands of vehicles are lot rotting right now they have so many on tap. That's not the problem.

Oh the horror...my local Toyota dealerships are marking down Tundra's $3,000-4,500 base on the models!!

Tariffs are turning into a WONDERFUL power to put Americans FIRST and not big business or big tech or, especially, big GOVERNMENT!

    Ronald Reagan was 100% right

    • "In this present crisis, government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem."
    • "Government's first duty is to protect the people, not run their lives."
    • "No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth!
It's past time to follow the science and get RID of solar and windmill....such a huge waste of money. Bring on the nuclear power plants!!
