My 2024 Prius XLE 'intermittently' turns Wi-Fi Setting 'Off'; happens most times when turning 'off ignition' upon arriving home, etc... Has anyone else had this problem and what was the 'Solution' to same? Also, has anyone been able to find 'how to check' current 'computer software versions', as well as that for the 'Infotainment Head Unit'? All I've been able to find are software versions in Settings under the 'Model Info' heading
Ask the Toyota Stealership if their diagnostic software, formerly known as "Toyota Techstream" has the ability to ensure wifi settings are not lost on shut down so wifi restarts when your car starts. If not tell them you want a full refund for them selling you a car that's warranty was unlawfully voided by them at their own legal jeopardy. We're seeing lots of examples of Toyota's legal liability for software failures being ignored and you and many other may be party to a major class action lawsuit against them if they don't start taking this seriously.
If you are using wireless apple car play or wireless android auto the wifi setting gets turned off since the car and phone are connected via a peer to peer wifi connection. Are you using one of those?
