hello all, couple of months ago my 2015 prius plug in got stolen from my driveway. Well I recently found the car but it is not in good shape. They have stolen most of the things from the back of the car: hv battery, cat, they have cut a lot of the wiring for the hv battery. They have the cut the frame wire. Luckily enough they were feeling generous and have not take the front end or body panels. After researching a little I have began to rebuild the car. I have put the frame wire back in from wrecked prius plug in. Next ill need to put back rest of the wiring, then the battery. I need a picture of a healthy 2012-2015 Prius Plug-in interior picture without the back seat and covers on the battery. Just an eagle eye view of everything. Let me know if some could help with that. I'll add a few pictures of the car when I get some time
salvage? ebay? i can't vouch for these guys: 2012-15-toyota-prius-plug-in-hybrid-battery i can't recall anyone ever needing one except a few covered by warranty
A friend's nephew I met recently asked about my 2012 Prius-Plug In Advanced with 114,000 miles. I wasn't actively selling the car but sold It anyway for $13k. It was never in any accident until last weekend when the new owner was in a parking lot and a lady backed into the front passenger fender! Bisco, did you get a good trade or private party sale for your previous 2012 Plug-in? I just went with the current KBB private sale value.
i only got 7k on a trade in. that was a little lower than carvana, but they actually drove it, and you couldn't miss the blown head gasket symptoms, or whatever was causing them. 87,000 miles, cranked rear bumper cover and gps stopped working. cali definitely has the highest values for prius
I didn’t have any of the problems you had. The flat tire indicator light came on and off then back on a few months ago. I just went for regular maintenance and replaced the 12v battery once after 11 years!
i think i drove too much in ev. the engine only had about 25-30k on it, but it ran a lot of incomplete warm up cycles as it would often come on just before my destination
