We bought a 2017 Prius three in May of this year. I'd been lurking and learning from this forum. Thank you all for the valuable information. I was especially pleased to learn that our Prius had had the heat exchanger replaced before we bought the car. I'm guessing the previous owner sold the car because of this repair. I used the Toyota app to track down the service history and confirmed that it was replaced by the dealership. The car was immaculate, and my wife loved driving it. I did too. We found it to be surprisingly refined. We were averaging 56 mpg according to the car's computer. Sadly it was totaled in an accident in July. We shopped around for another gen 4 Prius, but we just couldn't find one that was as nice as ours. RIP Little Prius. We had no idea how much we'd miss you when you were gone.
Don't give up... Just be patient and keep looking! Maybe reach out to www.skimmilkhybrid.com/ in Oklahoma... He's got access to lots of vehicles!
I can relate. I had a 2017 Prius from new until it was totalled late last year. Fortumate.y, u replaced it with a 2025 Camry XLE. All 2025 Camrys are hybrid now.
[QUOTE="PriusCamper, post: 3557189 We're addicted to hybrids now. We got a 2023 Accord hybrid sport as a replacement. However, my son's 2002 Honda crv isn't going to last forever, so I'm keeping my eyes open for Prius for him. Thank you for the tip!
