Featured Trump tariffs put the US auto industry in disarray

I have lived through a few trade wars, and they have all been stupid in my opinion.
As I child, I remember when the interior of British Columbia produced all types of fruit. Today it's almost nonexistent, from one end to the other. American fruit producers accused Canadians of "dumping," so they felt justified in dumping themselves, destroying most of the Canadian producers. Nearly all of what we buy is now imported.

 

I wonder when they'll update the HTML title of that page to not say "Latest Polls 2024".

 

Of course, he won the November 2024 election. Now we get to experience his policies and practices.

I remember chatting with a pollster in a hotel banquet room at a corporate meeting. He shared with me that polls can be bought and made to say whatever the client wants to pay for.

That's one thing I noticed in the USA, strawberries as big as your fist. Rarely see that here. I guess we exported all the best ones.
