You should create a new thread for the problem with your car and not hijack this thread.

The answer to your question about the hybrid battery was in post #10.

Try leaving it disconnected from the car for a few days.
If it holds voltage, you have a short somewhere, draining the battery while the car is off

So I have an update. I purchased a max pro grid charger. The charger was designed specifically for a GEN three Prius. I installed the wiring harness and tested to see if I installed it properly and everything looked good. I charged it for about 15 hours. Now the car won’t even crank at all. I have kept my 12 V battery charged as well. Any ideas? Is it possible that I missed something?

Try disconnecting the wiring harness, and install things back to how they were without it.
The first harness I had from the Prolong kit was defective.

I have uninstalled the wiring harness and there was no change. Still no crank at all now. I’m in the process of checking fuses but everything seems normal so far.

Use a meter and measure the voltage of the hybrid battery. Come back and post what the meter showed you.

So it was as simple as the safety switch. I did not click it over after reinstalling it. I discovered my error right before I read your post. Car started right up and seems to be running ok right now. I’ll continue to monitor everything. Thanks for all your help. I’m ok with doing something stupid so long as it’s running

Always go with the simplist things first.
    See post #19...

But I am glad it's running! Great feeling isn't it?
