Does anyone have the part number and location for the MAP Sensor in Prius Gen4. I used to clean this periodically on my Gen3, but cannot find it easily on the Gen4. thx in advance!

Here's a repair manual excerpt on it's location. The illustrations commencing with gen 4 are mostly-if-not-all just screen grabs from Toyota's modelling program, so not the best. I'd suspect it's similar to gen 3, just downstream of the throttle body.

BTW, Toyota refers to it by the catchy name:

E.F.I. Vacuum Sensor Assembly (Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor)

For part no I'd just contact a dealership parts department, if-and-when.

thx for reply Mendel and sorry for the late response. i managed to locate the sensor with your parts diagram. its in a different spot and not directly set into the intake on the gen4. weird in some ways and also attached via a 1/4" vacuum tube which probably goes down deeper into the intake. anyway i didnt remove the vac tube to look at the sensor yet, but will do that on the next maintenance in a few months.
