    Hello everyone,

I went to the car wash a couple weeks ago with a disgusting car so they did a deep clean and seem to have used quite a bit of water.

Since then, the AIRBAG OFF and the red airbag light are constantly on, as well as the safety belt warning. I am in discussion with them to solve the issue but I was wondering if I could do anything on my side. Even though it's already been two weeks, there is still a smell of humidity in the car so I assume all of it is not gone. Given that we hardly use our car and it's parked in the street, it spent most of its time with all windows closed and no A/C.

    Thanks.

try parking in full sun everyday with windows open, carpets out and hood and hatch open.
if it doesn't go away on its own, you'll need the service manual to track down the ecu and wiring so you can dry out all the connectors.

Thanks for the reply. I don't know how feasible that is but I'll give it a go.
