    Hello Everyone.

I've been snooping around this site for years. Thank you all so much for all the helpful tips and tricks you all post on here.

I have a 2013 Prius V @ 120K miles. I already have had multiple misfire codes and a few rough starts in the mornings. I am looking to start a big project to rectify the issues. I already completed a spark plug and coil pack replacement by myself 2 years ago. Looking to do the EGR system/ intake manifold clean out and PCV replacement next week. I am now planning to change out the water pump and thermostat since I see that it is also a preventive recommendation. I do not drive her much now, but I will start a new job soon, which will put close to 80 miles a day on her. I live in SOCAL, so the climate is temperate, but it can be very hot at times. Anything else anyone can recommend I do while I have it all apart? Thank you all again.

Replace the leaking head gasket, no point in doing the other stuff if you don't.

Do you think it will be an issue at 120k for a 2013?

i think it could be an issue. you'd hate to go to all the work you outlined above, and then have to tear it all down again, but i'll defer to @Mendel Leisk
    and asrdogman above.

I haven’t weighed in yet lol.

I’d agree with @ASRDogman : anything other than a head gasket check is arranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

Borescope inspect the combustion chambers first thing in the morning, day after a drive, preferably with system pressurized, to accelerate coolant leakage. You’re looking for evidence of coolant, extra clean piston top, coolant tears running down from the head gasket seam.

Keep an eye on engine coolant level in reservoir in the interim.

do clean the EGR system thoroughly, including intake manifold (has EGR passages). Repeat every 50k miles at most.

Ok makes sense. Coolant level has never dropped, and the engine does not leak or burn oil. But I will look into checking it out! I have a small wire camera I can probably use.
