Geesh, I’ve had 3 extractions this year as well, and a “partial”,. With our new, federally implemented dental plan, didn’t cost me anything.

But Canadian citizens only. I believe it was at the NDP’s behest, a bargaining chip for them to vote with minority liberal gov. Hopefully sticks around.

mine were wisdoms, and it made more sense to extract rather than repair. medicare does not cover dental, so we have a private policy for $1,000. each. but it doesn't cover everything and major work can get expensive.

Recent article on MSNBC suggests the West Coast States are forming their own vaccine conglomerate. If so, I might hold off on getting my next COVID shot until my trip to Las Vegas. <GRINS>

Yes, but without the CDC's predictive algorithms, world-wide flu patterns, and particular strains currently running amuck - it's going to be hit and miss for the foreseeable future - thus adding ammo to the blue and red states that flu vaccines are a hoax. Just my humble opinion....but I guess it's better than NOTHING.

PS; When I was handling my mom's affairs, I noticed that her medicare/medicaid had dental coverage. What it covered and how much it paid, I have no clue - because she didn't need any work done.

The CDC does not hold a patent on algorithms. They are easy enough for the largest economy States to replicate. The leave the Red alone with their desires for death . . . “The Mask of Red Death” by Poe now lived by MAGAots.

The point is that all of that needs to be recreated along with connections to other countries CDC equivalents. That takes time and effort. It's not like the CDC is going to just hand-over that data and connections. Two years would be optimistic and adding politicians into the mix - good luck.....

The other countries' CDC equivalents are probably eager to have some credible organization in the US to collaborate with, and may even have some pretty decent IP of their own they'd be willing to share.

Yes; I did a bunch of overseas medical missions - Technical Support and unofficial mission DB administrator. They do prefer US doctors over non-US looking doctors.:( It was a running inside joke whenever doctors would ask me to accompany them on stage during the mandated local government glad-handling - How they got us there to do those surgeries.:ROFLMAO::whistle:

You probably don't want to go there since basic vaccinations are going to be optional.
FWIW; I had to get my Cholera vaccine overseas because it wasn't offered here in the states. You can't be too careful when traveling. "You ain't in Kansas anymore"o_O:rolleyes:

A lot of ex-CDC folks are available for employment.
