I've had my 2025 Prius for 6 months and have only 3,000 miles on it. Needless to say, it hasn't been driven that much. Today when I was giving the interior a good clean, I noticed the plastic area where the front set belt rests when not being used is all scratched up. There's no sharp edges on the metal or even the plastic of the seat belt so I have to think the problem is with the plastic used for the interior. I kept my last Prius for 13 years and I can't imagine how bad this is going to look in 2038. Is anyone else seeing this and if so, have you found a way to prevent it?

I've uploaded a photo of the area where the set belt rests:

That seems odd. Mine at 7K miles shows a small fraction of the scratching yours has.

Does yours have a different color interior color? The plastic parts of the wall where the seat belt hangs in my car is a dark grey. If yours is different, maybe it hides the scratches better.
