OP - Did you hear a warning buzzer and see this on the MFD?

 

That was what I was going to suggest, run the engine for 5 mins and the oil will be dirty enough to see it.

The excessive oil consumption could be blocked breathers or clogged oil control rings ..... zas far as no oil showing on the stick, yeah, wife has been guilty of that, told me the check engine light was coming on around corners .... put 4 ltrs in and that fixed the problem .... but that is a Gen 2 not a gen 3.

It has done a lot more than 100,000 miles, probably done 50,000 mile since the no oil problem, still runs great
