No one has ever become uber rich without using far lower paid workers to get there. None of them have ever done it from their own hard work as an employee ...... The only thing that I can see that will sort the political mess over there is, stop the ability of anyone buying favours from an elected representative ..... that includes donations to get them elected in the first place. Anyone paying money to an elected official to get the result they want, should be jailed along with the official who took the bribe. You can't have the best govt when it's the best govt you can buy, it must be the govt that will do the best for all the people, not just those that bought them the position because they will want a return for their investment. At the moment, if all the big companies paid their workers what they were owed and then shut the doors, would the country be worse off than it is now? In the past, other countries paid because the US was the only country that still had money to finance anything after the war .... but that isn't the case anymore. Once all of America realises it's broke and simply can't keep paying the big $$ to those who aren't actually producing anything of value, the sooner it can rebuild, but that will take a lot of changes, so many believe they are owed so much because they think they are so special and clever .... yet if they had to go back to the days where you had to make what you had with your hands and not your mouth, they would be the ones living on the street, they couldn't actually make anything that they could sell to pay for the lifestyle they believe they are owed ....
