Hi everyone. Maybe someone will advise No codes on the dash, no codes on the techstream Prius 2007 has low power after 30mph, no power uphill, hard to achieve 60mph. 1. Inverter pump - fine, coolant level - fine. 2. Hybrid battery with battery ecm was taken out of perfectly running car. 3. Engine ecm replaced. 4 Hybrid ecm replaced. 5. Transmission fluid level is fine. 6. Transmission ecm replaced. 7. Upstream oxygen sensor live data is the same in comparison to the perfect working prius. 8. Inverter replaced. No changes after all this
Usually this symptom is because the car has detected a problem and stored an error code and turned on warning lights on the dashboard, as well as shut down the hybrid system so you're running on the engine alone and no electric motor power. Please clarify the presence of dash lights as well as get the error codes read via an auto parts store, or use a $20 bluetooth OBD2 error code reader so you can use a phone app like Dr. Prius.
SOC on the pack as shown on the display? Module voltages and the temperatures inside the pack? Is it an OEM pack? Are any of the brakes dragging? (One or more of the wheels should be dangerously hot after driving if this was the case.) Seems like this car has 3 ECMs from a donor car, possibly more than one donor. Were any of those from the first couple of model years? Toyota made some changes in 2006 (I think) and maybe earlier ECMs are somehow not fully compatible with the later years for this generation? It could even be something like a firmware mismatch.
No brake dragging. Ecms compatible, no changes with donor or original. Hybrid battery was taken out of the good running vehicle.
Not an answer to the question. Is it an OEM pack? How long ago was it transferred from the other vehicle?
