Adding a Subwoofer (300W)

    Good day, I have a 2012 prius and want to add a Rockville 300W (200RMS) rated power subwoofer, with a 20A rating fuse, is that safe for my hybrid system to install? Would be using an 8 Gauge install kit.

    It's a built in amp subwoofer

    Okay, thanks for your input, it's the Rockville RVB8.1A 8 Inch 300W Powered Car Subwoofer/Sub Enclosure Box, 4-Ohm
