Trying to use a portable CD player - Any Bluetooth transmitter that will pair, or other CD solution?

    I've had people laugh at me when I got the thing too: "What, you don't stream?".
    I hardly use the thing, mostly listen to just radio, terrestrial and satellite.
    I do the thumb drive too, but it is somewhat tedious.
    I guess I harken back to the days of going to a concert, buying a CD, and playing it on the drive home. Don't do that much anymore either.
    edit: Plus, someone mentioned audiobooks, probably borrowed from the library, which you aren't going to be (legally) ripping.

    I can't argue with that solution for cost, but several posters in the thread are keen to avoid the work (and investment in equipment needed) to rip CDs to files.

    Personally, I rip all my stuff onto a card that lives in a Sony walkman digital player featuring bluetooth. This has proven to be the right solution for me because it works seamlessly with both of the cars we own as well as the 30+ various rental cars I use each year for my travel job.

    Me too! I’ve been trying to adjust to using the Libby app on my phone but I miss CDs.
