My 2003 Prius was terrific and well worth the years I owned it can later gave to my girlfriend. About 270,000 miles before the unrepairable, brake booster failure. It was why I am still here at PriusChat.

I’ve been able to get them since 2021 , never need to renew, drivable 11 months.

if i could find one that works and isn’t rusted out it might be worth it just to avoid the egregious hybrid fines in Wisconsin, could maybe justify a sodium plug in pack.

Wow! I remember reading about the Prius Gen 2 in a magazine when it came out and was the first car I wanted to buy one brand new. I ended up getting a used 1993 Mazda 323. I also liked the Gen 1, it was the first Prius I had been in because my neighbor couldn't figure out why the engine kept "dying."
