Is it possible to determine which cells are likely to be faulty from this Dr. Prius Battery Monitoring session? The car was not shifting to EV suddenly even though the battery was getting charged. Then all on a sudden, the engine check lights appeared. Scanned and found the dreaded P0A80 code. Removed the code and the car would keep running - still won't move to EV. Only after it is switched off, it would run on EV normally and after driving a few kilometers or a couple of days later, the pattern repeated itself. I understand that the Hybrid battery is likely to be at the end of its life since it is a 2013 Prius and has run about 140K Kilometers. Just want to be sure that whether the battery requires a full replacement or only the faulty cells could be replaced and the whole battery pack balanced afterwards.
You can do anything ya like . As far as battery games go . A battery is a battery . Refurb battery is a band aid at best .
