Hey all, So, my 2011 Prius lost mainly the left side of the instrument cluster (speedometer, fuel gauge, fuel efficiency, etc but still have all warnings and everything to the right half). I’d like to replace it but I’m concerned about the odometer not being the same although I heard they can be reprogrammed. Has anyone had any experience resolving replacing the instrument cluster etc.? Heard this is one of those issues troubling this gen. Is there an alternative solution without having to replace the instrument cluster? I’m aware there are companies that takes your instrument cluster and refurbish it with new better components keeping the odometer in tact and sends it back to you. Any suggestions?
i thought it was a gen 2 problem. give texas hybrid batteries a call and ask if they have any gen 3 knowledge.
