Is there an aftermarket HUD that is able to show when the car goes from ICE to EV ?
If not, how hard would it be to hook up a dash mounted LED that comes on when the ICE is on ?
I can't always hear or feel when the ICE is on, and this would be a non distracting way to know.

I'm posting a lot recently, so instead of creating another thread, I'd also like to ask what you guys prefer for a MPG gauge, and why.
The ScanGauge, or something else ?

Both of those functions are natively on the MFD's Energy Monitor screen.

Yep; simply change your default display options.
You can still buy that stuff, if that money is burning a hole in your pockets. A better excuse would be to give the car the ability to do hands-free phone.:):eek:o_O:whistle:

Someone a while back posted about this. I picked up a P10 Pro OBD2 HUD. It connects to the OBD2 port under the dash and has multiple display options and data. I have it set to speed (mph/kmh), rpm, coolant temp, and oil temp. When ICE kicks on it displays the rpm and when in EV mode, rpm reads 0.

Maybe a gen 2 thing? Our gen 3 I find it unmistakable, both due to sound and feel.
